The Grasshopper Cup, which dates back to 1979, features in the 2014 PSA World Tour calendar bigger and better than we have ever seen it before. The GC Cup has grown from an invitational tournament to an official tournament of the World Federation and now, a PSA World Tour event. In the 1980s and 90s the tournament was at its peak, with the world's top squash players performing at GC Squash Centre. Famous and legendary players such as Jehangir and Jansher Khan, Rodney and Brett Martin, Chris Robertson, Peter Marshall and Chris Dittmar adorn the 'Heugümper' trophy. After just over a decade's absence, 2012 saw the rebirth of the great GC Cup which has continued to grow consistently each year, increasing from an International 25 in 2012, to an International 50 today.
